The new OTC Digital Automotive Tester (DAT) does everything a standard multimeter does, then goes a step beyond. It does everything from a deluxe ground test to measuring ignition kV!

The duel display shows two reading simultaneously. It measures 2.5" x 1.5".
Four LEDs give you enhanced testing capabilities, even acting as Noid Lights when connected to a fuel injector!

The DAT's dual action selector wheel, the power button, and the function buttons are conveniently located so you can move leads and probes freely for one-hand operation!

Digital Multimeter - Autoranging for AC/DC volts, resistance, and amps; measures duty cycle, frequency, temperature, and RPM; continuity and diode test capabilities; MIN, MAX, Delta, Adjustable Logic Probe, and much more.
Battery Drain Test - Complete parasitic battery drain tester. Also includes a self-calibration feature.
Electrical System Test - Look for bad grounds, voltage drops, intermittent connections, or sources of high resistance. You can even run a charging system test for diagnosing alternators and battery state.
Sensor Tests - Get a quick and accurate diagnosis of the complete O2 circuit. The DAT is capable of sending a Rich/Lean signal to the ECM, and displaying crossing-per-second and O2 voltage simultaneously. Includes a glitch capture feature so you can identify any drop-outs through the range of a TPS sensor. Also includes a custom setup for MAP, MAF, EGR, Crank, and Magnetic sensors.
Fuel System Tests - The LEDs act as Noid Lights when the DAT is connected to a fuel injector. You can also measure injector on-time and peak voltage simultaneously. A dedicated mode reads line pressures with the pressure adapter (available separately)
Ignition System Test - The DAT is also a complete on-board kV tester. You can measure Peak Voltage or Burn Voltage with Burn Time simultaneously. Read RPM on 2 and 4-stroke engines. The Dwell option lets you select number of cylinders.

Model Differences:

No. 3545 - Ignition DAT Complete Kit. All features are included: Volts, Ohms, Amps, BATT, ELEC, SEN, FUEL, and IGN. The kit includes the ignition DAT and a complete lead set to accomplish those tests. Battery, manual, and storage case are also included.
No. 3543 - Ignition DAT Standard Kit. Similar to No. 3545 except it contains a standard lead set (three leads, three alligator clips, and two probes). Battery, manual, and storage case are also included.
No. 3535 - Electrail DAT Kit. Features Volts, Ohms, Amps, Battery Drain Test, and Electrical System Test functions. The kit includes the electrical DAT, the standard lead set, battery, and manual.
