Rotor and drum feeds turn off electrically at end of travel using a limit switch. Rotor lead screw runs out of lead nut which must be mannually cranked into nut. Operator must manually adjust drum shut-off.
Rigid Construction
Spindle runs on Timken tapered roller bearings (zero tolerances). Spindle runs on bronze bushings (must have tolerances).
Cross feeds are on massive dove tail ways with 4 adjustment points for wear. Cross feeds are round tubes with no adjustment for wear.
Cross slides are stacked on cast iron housings for added rigidity. Cross slides are light weight and are hung with no support.

Durability
